Open the timeline you would like to update, then tap the + post button in the lower-right corner.
From the three circular options, select the New Post icon—the square with a small pencil.
A post must include at least one photo or video. You can also add:
To log data without adding a photo or video, use one of the methods described in Where to Log Data in Your Timeline.
You can also adjust the post’s Timestamp to place it at the correct point in your timeline.
After adding a photo or video, tap the small calendar icon in the lower-left corner of its thumbnail to use the date and time available from that file as the post’s Timestamp.
This is often the original capture time, but not always. If the photo or video was downloaded, exported, edited, re-saved, or transferred from another app or device, the available time may reflect a later file date instead.
Check the Timestamp before creating your post, and adjust it manually when needed.
When everything is ready, tap Create.
