Part crow, part wandering naturalist, Wally is Habident’s AI-powered field companion. Wally helps you look more closely at your timelines by reading timeline data, noticing patterns, sharing related facts, and suggesting questions for your next observation.
Open one of your timelines, then tap the small horizontal handle at the top center of the screen, just below the timeline title. This will expand the Timeline Info panel.
Wally lives in the upper-right corner of this panel.
The first time you open it, Wally will not appear immediately. Tap the AI icon in the upper-right corner to activate Wally for that timeline. Once activated, Wally’s crow icon will appear and stay with your timeline.
Wally cannot view or analyze the photos you upload.
Wally only reads supported timeline data, such as observation dates, weight, measurements, activity levels, and other structured information recorded in that timeline. You can continue adding personal photos without making them visible to Wally.
Even if your timeline is still new, Wally may be able to share a small tip, a related fact, or an idea for what to observe next. As you add more records, Wally will have more context for noticing patterns and changes over time.
Wally is currently available for Cat, Dog, Human, Aquarium, and Plant timelines.
He is not yet available for timelines created with Other, since these can be about almost anything and may contain many different kinds of data.
We are working on more ways to customize what your timelines record. As these tools grow, Wally will be able to accompany more kinds of timelines, too.
