There are several ways to log a data update in your timeline. Choose whichever feels most convenient.
Tap the ••• menu in the upper-right corner of your timeline, then select Log data update.
This opens the full data log, where you can choose from all the data types available for that timeline.
Tap the post button in the lower-right corner of your timeline, then select the data log icon.
This lets you add data—such as weight, measurements, or activity level—alongside the photos and notes in your post.
Tap the small horizontal handle at the top center of the timeline to expand the Timeline Info panel, then scroll to the data section.
The data section will appear once you have logged at least one data update. If you do not see it yet, use the timeline menu or post composer to add your first entry.
Once the section appears, you can tap a specific field, such as Weight, to update it directly. You can also tap the data log icon beside the section title to choose from all available data types.
The fields and options you see will depend on the category of your timeline and the data you have recorded.
